Work Description

  • Studio engineering tasks such as recording, post-production, etc.
  • Voice recording and editing, mixing and mastering cutscenes or promotional videos, and other engineer tasks related to the game title

Requirements

  • Native level Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1 required)
  • 3 years of more of previous work experience as a recording engineer, including voice recording, instrument recording, etc. or advanced knowledge and previous work experience in post-production engineering.
  • Previous work experience using ProTools and knowledge of various studio equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of plug-in software besides ProTools, such as DAW
  • Experience in directing various recordings
  • Knowledge and experience in multi-channel mixing, mastering
  • Knowledge of publication or licensing in relation to sound
  • Proficiency in a language(s) other than Japanese
  • Knowledge and experience in producing new technology such as immersive audio

[EMPLOYMENT STATUS] Contract employee (promotion to Full-Time Employee is possible).

[LOCATION] Minato-ku Tokyo Japan (Nearest train station: Shinagawa station).

[WORK HOURS] 10:00 ー 18:45 or Discretionary Labor System
Standard work hour starts at 10:00 am. Exact work hours are left to individual discretion.

[SALARY] Annual salary, performance incentive system in place
