In 2021, KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS teamed up with Seiko to create an Astron watch that fuses the Dual-Time 5X53 Caliber with our signature icon, Ludens.

Astron GPS Solar is the natural partner for Hideo Kojima and KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS because they share the same innovative ethos. Seiko has been at the forefront of high technology watchmaking, continually creating a series of evermore advanced calibers. Similar to “DEATH STRANDING” and our mission to open up a whole new genre of gaming experience, Seiko are innovating the technology of watchmaking.

The Dual-Time 5X53 design incorporates several elements inspired by Ludens' suit. The interwoven pattern on the dial reflects the texture of his carbon face mask motif and the interlocking sub-dials are inspired by the hinges of Ludens' suit, with the cut-outs in the hour and minute hands mirroring its flag spear design. The iconic KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS logo is printed both at the 9 o'clock position and on the back of the case.

The watch is presented in a special box which includes a card with a message from Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa.
