The uploading of gameplay videos, livestreaming, and sharing or uploading any images of the PlayStation®5 game “DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH” (hereinafter referred to as the “Game”), a KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS”) title, is permitted by following the guideline described below (hereinafter referred to as the “Guideline”).
Please note that this Guideline only applies to the intellectual properties owned by KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. For any content that is owned by a third party (e.g. music), you must confirm with the appropriate right holder(s). Please also be aware that KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS will not be able to respond to any inquiries regarding the ownership of such third party rights.
Eligible Materials
- The following content may be used in accordance to this Guideline (hereinafter referred to as the “Eligible Materials”):
- The text, images and videos displayed within the Game
- Music tracks and music data used within the Game
Note: However, there may be some music tracks within the Game that are not owned by KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. In such cases, you must either obtain permission for use from the artist or rights holder(s), or turn the volume down until it is off while the music track is playing.
How the Eligible Materials May be Used
- Uploading or livestreaming gameplay videos and/or images on personal websites and/or blogs, video sharing sites, social networking services, etc. for the purpose of personal use is permitted.
The Scope of the Eligible Materials
- During the early access period, you may upload gameplay videos, images and livestream up to the point where the result screen for Order: No. 28 in Episode 7 is displayed.
- After the early access period ends, you may upload gameplay videos, images and livestream from all parts of the Game. However, if the upload or livestream contains scenes that reveal a significant part of the story, please be sure to mark “spoiler alert” or similar, so as to not take away the opportunity for other players to enjoy the Game for themselves.

Conditions of Use
- Do not use the Eligible Materials for commercial or for-profit purposes. Uploading or livestreaming the Eligible Materials on any websites or services that require payment or compensation to view or access will be deemed as for-profit. However, if revenue is generated through monetization frameworks officially provided by video sharing platforms (such as YouTube, Vimeo or similar) and intended for content creators, such uses will not be deemed as commercial or for-profit.
- Do not use the Eligible Materials to promote other products and/or services.
- Do not upload videos that only contain music data or videos whose main purpose is listening to the music.
- Do not upload videos that consist entirely or mostly of cutscenes.
- Please refrain from using any Eligible Materials in any behavior that could lead to the defamation of others, violate public decency and/or social norms, or violate the law.
- Do not use the Eligible Material for religious, political, and criminal or socially disruptive activities.
- If there is a request from KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS to suspend the use of videos, gameplay videos, images, and livestreams which include the Eligible Materials, please promptly suspend the use regardless of the reason. Furthermore, please be aware that KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS may delete uploaded videos, gameplay videos, images, and livestreams which include the Eligible Materials if KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS deems them as inappropriate.

- This Guideline is designed for individual users who are playing the Game. KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS asks corporate users (including individuals affiliated with a talent agency/production company as well as individuals who are contracted by a corporation to livestream or post videos) to please register at Media Portal site below and contact KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS:

- KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS does not provide any guarantees concerning the Eligible Materials, including that the Eligible Materials will not infringe third party rights. You are solely responsible in their use of the Eligible Materials when uploading gameplay videos, uploading images or livestreaming, etc. KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS will not compensate you or any third party for any damages or injuries that arise as a result of use of the Eligible Materials.
- KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS reserves the right to update the contents of the Guideline at its discretion. As the Guideline will be updated as necessary, KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS requests you to check and review the most up-to-date Guideline before uploading any Eligible Materials.
