Work Description

  • Game production (including support) and project management
  • Strategy formulation related to planning, income and expenditure forecasting, system building, and staff retention
  • Support for promotional activities
  • Development, selection, progress planning, contract establishment, and progress management of external production companies in Japan and overseas

Requirements

  • Native level Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1 required)
  • Those who are in tune with the attitude that Kojima Productions is striving for in producing their products
  • At least one year of work experience in professions such as producer/project manager/director in various industries (we will also assess your experience from the perspective of businesses other than game production)
  • Experience in project management such as budgeting, quality control, and schedule management
  • Understanding of the process of game production

For new graduates, there is no need to meet all of the eligibility requirements. 
For those with no experience in the industry, there is no need to meet all of the eligibility requirements, but please focus on abilities that you think can contribute to game development to compensate for this. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Those who have experience producing hit content
  • Those who have the ability to communicate in English
  • Expertise and practical experience in product design, promotion, marketing, etc.
  • Expertise and practical experience in management tools such as Hansoft and JIRA
  • Those who are highly knowledgeable in online games/social games
  • Those who are highly knowledgeable in games and entertainment content other than games 
  • Ability to analyse data based on a database, construct hypotheses, and propose measures
  • Ability to respond flexibly and think logically
  • Good at coordination, smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders, and good at summarizing matters

    • If you are from a business other than game production, please explain so that we can understand what work you do.
