Now available for purchase, LUDENS ZAKU sake brings together Japanese tradition and creative ingenuity making it the ultimate expression of modern craftmanship.

■Collaboration Product Overview 

Both products feature the studio's symbol, “Ludens—Those Who Play” and incorporate traditional crafts from Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture: “Ise Katagami” stencil paper and “Suzuka Sumi” ink. We hope these exceptional traditional techniques will be carried forward and passed down to future generations 

 

ZAKU LUDENS JUNMAI GINJO

Junmai Ginjo sake features a fresh aroma reminiscent of green apples and a crisp acidity. Enjoy it slightly chilled. The bottle design showcases the KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS logo, intricately engraved using the traditional craft of “Ise katagami” (Ise stencil), a technique said to date back to the Muromachi period.

Junmai Daiginjo is meticulously crafted using only Mie Prefecture-grown Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 35%. The moment you sense a taste unlike any other, leaving you with a pleasant aftertaste. The bottle features a collaboration between the traditional craft “Suzuka Sumi” and KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS’ Art Director Yoji Shinkawa, the newly created, sumi-ink-inspired artwork stands out in its elegant, deep presence.
