Brand Manager
Work Description
- Drafting, facilitating, and implementing plans and strategies in cooperation with the production team and external partners in order to raise awareness of Kojima Productions titles and products.
- Drafting strategic and well-informed planning based on an in-depth understanding of the development process and the title at hand.
- Coordinating title campaigns with internal teams or outside agencies and publishing partners.
- Understanding and aligning with local and global market needs to ensure regional and broad appeal and to maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Supporting the creation, management, and distribution of marketing campaign assets from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, creation, approvals, and execution.
- Managing campaign performance from start to finish.
- Working with internal and external teams to creatin create regular reports for management and internal members about product campaign performance, owned social channels, and key market trends.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a brand manager in the video games or entertainment industry.
- A strong passion for games and entertainment:
Someone who understands, is deeply engaged with, and above all knows how to enjoy video games, and is motivated in formulating ideas that help keep users continue to enjoy and find value in our products. - Required Language Qualifications:
Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N1 level or above or native-level, along with business-level English proficiency. - Someone based in (or open to relocate to) Tokyo and with an in-depth understanding of video games/entertainment marketing strategies.
- Someone with strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with global marketing and can work freely with international time zones.
- Familiarity with online social platforms functionality.
- Someone who is proactive and a self-starter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in livestreaming technologies, as well as experience in content production for social media channels.
- Strong multilingual communication skills and a global mindset:
Proficiency in one or more languages other than Japanese and English, with the ability to understand and navigate cultural contexts and nuances in both domestic and international settings.

【WORK HOURS】 10:00-18:45
【SALARY】Annual salary with a performance-based incentive system.
Compensation will be determined based on experience and skills in accordance with company regulations.
